Our well stocked chandlery is open...
Monday 9am - 1 pm and 2pm - 5pm
Tues - Fri 9am - 1pm and 1.30 - 5pm
Saturday 9am - 12noon (9am - 1pm and 1.30 - 3pm from 1st September - end May)
We carry all types of marine equipment including:- paint (including well known brands Blakes Paints, International Paints, Epifanes and Deks Oljie); shackles; wiring; batteries; boxes and connectors; anodes; hose; oils; waterproof grease; antifreeze; rope; G.R.P. supplies; a wide range of abrasives and fastenings; varnish; bilge pumps; fuel tanks and fuel lines; sail repair tape; boat hooks; rowlocks; drill bits; caulking cotton; sikaflex; GRP repair supplies including epoxy kits; glass tape and duck tape! We also keep a selection of polished brass and chrome fittings.
A complete range of Blakes Paints products is available including the full colour range of Blakes brilliant enamel, Polygloss, Deck Coating, Undercoats, Bilge and Locker paint, Thinners and Antifouls. We carry most varnishes including their Classic No.1 Varnish, Seatech Gloss, Woodseal, Favourite Varnish and more…
Also a wide range of International products are stocked including Toplac, Perfection, Brightside, Deck Paint, Thinners, Trilux, prop antifoul and some of the varnishes – Original, Goldspar and more…
We carry a range of Epifanes products including the popular Epifanes high gloss varnish, and Epifanes enamel paints and undercoats.
We are an official supplier for 'Teak Wonder', an American 3 part teak cleaning and maintenance system now very popular in the UK.
One of our most popular areas of chandlery is our stock of Fastenings – we carry a wide range of A2 stainless Self tapping screws, Brass woodscrews, A2 and A4 hex head bolts, nuts and washers, Copper boat nail and roves, silicon bronze gripfast nails, silicon bronze woodscrews, A2 and A4 Stainless steel studding and some galvanised products too. All fastenings are sold individually so you can buy 1 or 100 !
Gweek Quay Chandlery has a fascinating 'second hand shelf’ with a collection of second hand equipment – varying from port holes and highfield levers to a sea toilet and an anchor and chain. Some of our current items include an original brass trailing log complete with wooden case, a pair of polished oval fixed port holes, a propeller, a 24v Jabsco Puppy Pump and many more items both big and small.
If we don’t have what you want in stock – we will find it!
We can usually get fastenings ordered in within a day or two, most other items the following day - or within a week or so.
